CTV Regina Delivers Broadcast and Live Stream of SASKATCHEWAN LEADERS’ DEBATE, March 23

REGINA (March 18, 2016) – As voters prepare to head to the polls for the Saskatchewan Provincial Election on April 4, viewers across the region can turn to CTV News for live coverage of the 2016 SASKATCHEWAN LEADERS’ DEBATE. Featuring NDP Leader Cam Broten and Saskatchewan Party Leader Brad Wall, the debate airs live on Wednesday, March 23 beginning at 6:05 p.m. on CTV Regina, with a live video stream of the 55-minute debate also available online at regina.ctvnews.ca/.
Viewers are invited to help set the agenda and participate in the debate by submitting their questions to the leaders using #skdebate on Twitter and Facebook. Additionally, questions may be e-mailed to email@example.com.
To accommodate the broadcast of the live debate, a special edition of CTV NEWS AT SIX with Dan McIntosh and Heather Anderson will air at 5:00 p.m., bringing viewers the latest local news, weather, and sports headlines that they rely on. The special edition newscast includes a focused pre-debate panel discussion hosted by McIntosh, along with a panel of top experts and political pundits weighing in on all of the issues at stake. Included on the panel are Terri Harris of Harris Greenaway Communications, who is former Senior Advisor and former Chief of Operations for Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall; Saskatchewan NDP Party Treasurer and member of the English River Dene Nation Mitchell Anderson; and Greg Poelzer, a political studies professor and the Executive Director of the University of Saskatchewan's International Centre for Northern Governance and Development.
