CTV Reveals Official Poster for MOTIVE Season 2, Premiering March 6

Leading up to the second season premiere of hit original crime drama MOTIVE, CTV today revealed the series’ official poster. Airing Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CTV beginning March 6, MOTIVE stays true to form in its second season with its signature teaser, introducing the audience to both the killer and the victim at the start of each episode.

In Season 2, homicide detective Angie Flynn (Kristin Lehman) is as determined as ever, and her partner, Detective Oscar Vega (Louis Ferreira), continues to be her rock with his no-nonsense attitude and unconditional support. Detective Brian Lucas (Brendan Penny) is no longer the rookie at the station, a role he’s happy to hand over to the very keen and ambitious Officer Wendy Sung (Valerie Tian). While Lucas maintains his sincere and earnest attitude, he finds himself challenged as his personal and professional lives start to collide. Sung becomes an enthusiastic new colleague for Lucas, yet this new working relationship causes him to question his own values.

A new Team Commander shakes up the station with his hands-on approach. Confident and charismatic Mark Cross (Warren Christie), the bullpen’s new sergeant, shares a mysterious and strained connection with Angie, a connection she would prefer to leave in the past. As she attempts to keep the details of their relationship out of her professional life, she jeopardizes the trust she shares – and relies on – with Vega. She finds herself leaning on medical examiner Dr. Betty Rogers (Lauren Holly), and must find a way to work with Cross, even if it means confronting the truth – and the secret that drove them apart years ago.
