CTV Reveals the MASTERCHEF CANADA Season 4 Top 12

TORONTO (March 3, 2017) – And then there were 12! The Season 4 Top 12 was revealed on CTV tonight as MASTERCHEF CANADA returned with a new home cook audition process, a series first, which saw the competition kick off with aspiring chefs from across Canada surprised at home with their first challenge. In tonight’s episode, 24 home cooks come to Toronto to cook for judges Michael Bonacini, Alvin Leung, and Claudio Aprile and the best 12 earn white aprons, and the chance to compete for $100,000 and the life-changing title of MasterChef Canada. This season’s Top 12, which includes a director of operations, a PhD student, a broker, and a category manager, will compete in a series of mystery box challenges, pressure tests, and elimination challenges. Each week, Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, at least one home cook will be eliminated until only two are left to battle it out to in the MASTERCHEF CANADA Season 4 finale. This season will feature appearances by world-renowned chef and food activist Jamie Oliver and Season 3 MASTERCHEF CANADA winner Mary Berg.
