Following a power outage at Bell Media’s broadcast facilities in Scarborough, Ont. last night, CTV programming was impacted, including, in some markets, the third episode of Season 2 of hit CTV Original comedy
JANN.
As a result, CTV announced today it will re-air this week’s original episode, entitled “Tomato, Tomato”, on
Thursday, Oct. 8 at
9:30 p.m. ET/PT following YOUNG SHELDON. The episode is currently streaming on Crave, CTV.ca, and the CTV app for fans ahead of this Thursday’s encore.
In the episode, Jann (Jann Arden) and ex-girlfriend Cynthia (Sharon Taylor) are back together and in couple’s counselling. Their therapist has them promise to “be there” for each other at some point during the week. When Jann is asked to be a celebrity guest judge at sister Max (Zoie Palmer) and Dave’s (Patrick Gilmore) children’s talent show, Jann asks Cynthia to join her at the event. But when Cynthia bails, Jann becomes upset and distracted – threatening to ruin talent night, and quite possibly her relationship with her sister. The episode also features guest-star
Elisha Cuthbert (THE RANCH, HAPPY ENDINGS) as school board parent Liz.
JANN returns to its regular Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT timeslot on CTV with an all-new episode Oct. 12.
Please note: the Oct. 12 original episode of
JANN airs at a special time (8 p.m. MT/AT) on CTV in Alberta and Atlantic Canada.
