Program Alert – February 27, 2015 CTV Two Programming Highlights: March 1 – March 15  March kicks off with aspiring vocalists on THE VOICE, as the Blind Auditions continue on Season 8 of the vocal competition, as well as the CTV Two movie premieres of Tim Burton’s CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, SAFE HAVEN – based on Nicholas Sparks’ romantic novel, and Taylor Lautner-starrer ABDUCTION.   • Johnny Depp (Mortdecai) is the world’s most unusual candy maker in Tim Burton’s Oscar®-nominated family adventure-comedy CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, a CTV Two movie premiere (March 1)
  • The journey for the next voice continues with the Blind Auditions on Season 8 of THE VOICE (March 2)
  • Taylor Lautner (Twilight) stars as a young man uncovering the truth about his life after finding his baby photo on a missing persons website in the CTV Two movie premiere of thriller ABDUCTION (March 5).
  • In an episode new to CTV Two of MASTERCHEF CANADA, the home cooks take on their first team challenge: to prepare a hearty meal for the world-class acrobats, performers, and crew of Cirque du Soleil (March 7)
  • Based on Nicholas Sparks’  novel, Josh Duhamel (New Year’s Eve) and Julianne Hough (DANCING WITH THE STARS) star in the CTV Two movie premiere of the thrilling romantic drama SAFE HAVEN (March 8)
  • Not knowing how to handle the new Caroline (Candice Accola), Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) attempt to intervene sets off a dangerous chain of events, leaving him and Elena (Nina Dobrev) in a race against the clock on THE VAMPIRE DIARIES (March 12)
  • Francis (Toby Regbo) makes a shocking move, and Bash (Torrance Coombs) and Kenna’s (Caitlin Stasey) marriage is beyond repair after he learns of her scheming on REIGN (March 12)

All programming is subject to change (All times ET/PT; visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times).   Sunday, March 1 8 p.m. – CTV Two Movie: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) – MOVIE PREMIERE A young boy (Freddie Highmore, August Rush) wins a tour through the most magnificent chocolate factory in the world, led by the world’s most unusual candy maker (Johnny Depp, Mortdecai). Tim Burton’s 2005 adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory also stars Helena Bonham Carter (Cinderella).   Monday, March 2 8 p.m. – THE VOICE – “The Blind Auditions, Part 3” – Two Hours – NEW EPISODE The Blind Auditions continue in front of a celebrity panel of musician coaches including Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, and Pharrell Williams. The strongest vocalists from across the country compete to be selected by one of the coaches and fight for a chance to win the title of being named “The Voice.”   Tuesday, March 3 8 p.m. – THE VOICE – “The Blind Auditions, Part 4” – Two Hours – NEW EPISODE The Blind Auditions continue in this weeks THE VOICE in front of a celebrity panel of coaches including, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams.   Thursday, March 5 8 p.m. – CTV Two Movie: ABDUCTION (2011) – MOVIE PREMIERE ABDUCTION is a thriller centred on a young man (Taylor Lautner, Twilight) who sets out to uncover the truth about his life after finding his baby photo on a missing persons website.   Saturday, March 7 7 p.m. – MASTERCHEF CANADA – “Juggling Act” – New to CTV Two The home cooks’ first Team Challenge requires them to cook a hearty but healthy performance-day lunch for the world-class acrobats, performers, and crew of Cirque du Soleil’s show Kurios: A Cabinet of Curiosities. Once back in the MASTERCHEF CANADA kitchen, the losing team faces the dreaded Pressure Test, in which they are challenged to master a historic Québécois dish.   Sunday, March 8 8 p.m. – CTV Two Movie: SAFE HAVEN – MOVIE PREMIERE A young woman (Julianne Hough, DANCING WITH THE STARS) with a mysterious past lands in Southport, North Carolina, where her bond with a widower (Josh Duhamel, New Year’s Eve) forces her to confront the dark secret that haunts her.   Monday, March 9 8 p.m. – THE VOICE – “Blinds End and Battles Begin” – Two Hours – NEW EPISODE The Blind Auditions finish this week and Battles Begin, in front of a celebrity panel of musician coaches including Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, and Pharrell Williams. The strongest vocalists from across the country compete to be selected by one of the coaches and fight for a chance to win the title of being named “The Voice.”   Tuesday, March 10 8 p.m. – THE VOICE – “The Battle Premiere, Part 2” – Two Hours – NEW EPISODE Synopsis currently unavailable    Thursday, March 12 8 p.m. – THE VAMPIRE DIARIES – “The Downward Spiral” – NEW EPISODE Following the death of her mother, Caroline (Candice Accola) gives her friends an unexpected ultimatum. Not knowing how to handle the new Caroline, Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) attempt to intervene sets off a dangerous chain of events, leaving him and Elena (Nina Dobrev) in a race against the clock. Meanwhile, after seeking answers from Kai (Chris Wood) about the prison world, Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) world is turned upside down when he learns some devastating news about his mother Lily (Annie Wersching, 24). Elsewhere, Enzo (Michael Malarkey) finds himself becoming increasingly intrigued by Sarah Salvatore (Tristan Mays, The Wedding Ringer), and Bonnie (Kat Graham) begins to struggle with the effects of being back in the real world.  9 p.m. – REIGN – “Tasting Revenge” – NEW EPISODE When King Antoine (Ben Aldridge, The Railway Man) threatens to tell Francis (Toby Regbo) of Mary (Adelaide Kane) and Condé’s (Sean Teale) evolving relationship, Francis makes a shocking move.
