CTV Two Programming Highlights: November 1 – 15

CTV Two starts off November with the Season 4 premiere of MASTERCHEF JUNIOR and the season finale of BEST TIME EVER WITH NEIL PATRICK HARRIS. CTV Two also delivers new episodes of DANCING WITH THE STARS, LAW & ORDER: SVU, THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA, REIGN, SHARK TANK, SLEEPY HOLLOW, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, and THE VOICE. Programming Highlights for November 1 – 15 on CTV Two and CTV GO include:
  • The Knockout Rounds continue with the artists being paired against a teammate once more, but this time they will each select their own song to perform individually on THE VOICE (Nov. 2)
  • Iconic boy band, the Backstreet Boys, headlines the show’s popular Singalong Live segment on the season finale of BEST TIME EVER WITH NEIL PATRICK HARRIS (Nov. 3)
  • Laura (Debra Messing) and her team are hot on the trail of an international smuggling ring on THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA (Nov. 4)
  • The SVU investigates a case involving a pregnant 13 year-old daughter of a famous reality TV family on LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT (Nov. 4)
  • Damon (Ian Somerhalder) decides he’s going to turn over a new leaf and Lily (Annie Wersching) prepares for the arrival of a special figure from her past on THE VAMPIRE DIARIES (Nov. 5)
  • Abbie (Nicole Beharie) and Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) are tempted to confront a painful part of their past when Pandora (Shannyn Sossamon) unleashes an iconic monster on SLEEPY HOLLOW (Nov. 5)
  • America’s Top 24 junior home cooks enter the kitchen for the first time and jump right into their first Mystery Box Challenge on the Season 4 premiere of MASTERCHEF JUNIOR (Nov. 6)
  • Jimmy Kimmel is back, with security guard Guillermo, to preview new mind-blowing ideas on SHARK TANK (Nov.6)
  • Mary (Adelaide Kane) finds herself looking to Francis (Toby Regbo) for aid when she receives an urgent message from her ailing mother (Amy Brenneman, THE LEFTOVERS) on REIGN (Nov. 10)
Below is a chronological listing of programming highlights for November 1 – 15 on CTV Two and CTV GO. All programming is subject to change (all times ET/PT; visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times). Sunday, Nov. 1 8 p.m. – DANCING WITH THE STARS – TWO HOURS – NEW EPISODE The eight remaining couples perform an individual Halloween-themed routine in addition to a competitive team dance. For the team dances, the cast has been divided into two frightening teams: Team #Nightmare and Team #WhoYouGonnaCall. These two teams compete against each other, vying for a perfectly wicked score from the judges. Actress and DANCING WITH THE STARS Season 17 semi-finalist Leah Remini also returns to guest co-host alongside Tom Bergeron. At the end of the night, one couple will face elimination. Monday, Nov.2 8 p.m. – THE VOICE – “THE KNOCKOUTS, PART 3” – TWO HOURS – NEW EPISODE – LIVE The Knockout Rounds continue with coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and Pharrell Williams’ strongest team members remaining from the Battle Rounds. The artists are paired against a teammate once more, but this time they each select their own song to perform individually, while their direct competitor watches and waits. Music phenomenon and GRAMMY Award®-winning artist Rihanna serves as a key adviser and is on hand to work with all of the coaches and their teams as they prepare the artists for this challenge. Tuesday, Nov. 3 8 p.m. – BEST TIME EVER WITH NEIL PATRICK HARRIS – NEW EPISODE – LIVE SEASON FINALE On the Season finale of BEST TIME EVER WITH NEIL PATRICK HARRIS, the one and only Backstreet Boys headline the show’s popular Singalong Live segment. The show features appearances by A-list stars, stunts, comedy skits, incredible performances, mini game shows, audience giveaways, and hidden camera pranks. 9 p.m. – THE VOICE – “The Road to the Live Shows” –– NEW EPISODE Relive the best moments from the season so far during this original jam-packed special chronicling the journey of the Top 20 from the Blind Auditions to next week’s Live Playoffs. Also includes never-before-seen footage of coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and Pharrell Williams. Wednesday, Nov. 4 8 p.m. – THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA – “The Mystery of the Maternal Instinct” – NEW EPISODE Detective Laura Diamond (Debra Messing) and her team are hot on the trail of an international smuggling ring, when a pregnant woman is found dead on the side of the road. They quickly discover the goods being trafficked are not what they appeared to be. 9 p.m. – LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT – “Patrimonial Burden” – NEW EPISODE The SVU investigates an unraveling web of secrets when the virtuous 13 year-old daughter (Victoria Leigh, Bridge of Spies) of a famous reality TV family discovers she’s pregnant. Thursday, Nov. 5 8 p.m. – THE VAMPIRE DIARIES – “Live Through This” – NEW EPISODE After realizing the downward spiral he was on, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) decides he’s going to turn over a new leaf and that his actions moving forward will do right by Elena (Nina Dobrev). Lily (Annie Wersching, 24) prepares for the arrival of a special figure from her past, while Enzo (Michael Malarkey) stands by, not sure what to expect. Elsewhere, at Caroline’s (Candice King) urging, Stefan (Paul Wesley) comes face-to-face with Valerie (Elizabeth Blackmore, Evil Dead) and learns some upsetting details about her past, while Enzo and Bonnie (Kat Graham) find themselves at odds when they’re forced to fend off a violent threat. Finally, when Bonnie learns some disturbing information involving the Phoenix stone, she is forced to confront Alaric (Matt Davis). 9 p.m. – SLEEPY HOLLOW – “This Red Lady from Caribee” – NEW EPISODE When Pandora (Shannyn Sossamon) unleashes an iconic monster to haunt the residents of Sleepy Hollow as they sleep, Abbie (Nicole Beharie) and Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) are tempted to confront a painful part of their past. Meanwhile, Abbie makes a crucial decision for her career and Ichabod (Tom Mison) does his best to guide her with wisdom from his own experiences. Friday, Nov. 6 8 p.m. – MASTERCHEF JUNIOR – “New Kids on the Chopping Block” – SEASON PREMIERE America’s Top 24 junior home cooks enter the kitchen for the first time and jump right into their first Mystery Box Challenge. Each junior home cook is tasked with preparing a signature burger and one side. The winner of the challenge has a significant advantage and selects the main ingredient that the remaining contestants must use in the season’s first elimination round. 9 p.m. – SHARK TANK – NEW EPISODE In Season 6, Jimmy Kimmel brought his revolutionary, fashion-forward idea, Horse Pants, into the Tank. In tonight’s episode, see what new mind-blowing ideas he and security guard Guillermo are back with this time around. Also, a couple from Stamford, Conn. have discovered a guilt-free version of ice cream with only 100 calories for the entire pint; a husband and wife team from Chatsworth, CA who are also professional chefs, used their culinary skills to come up with soaps and lotions you could actually eat; two men from New York City have solved the problem of missing deliveries at home; and a mother & daughter team from the Denver, Colorado area pitch a fun and convenient way to stay fit and fight the battle of the bulge with one simple product. Tuesday, Nov. 10 8 P.M. – THE VOICE – “The Live Playoffs, Night 2” – TWO HOURS – NEW EPISODE – LIVE The remaining artists perform in front of coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and Pharrell Williams for their chance at a spot in the live performance shows. 10 p.m. – REIGN – “The Price” – NEW EPISODE After Mary (Adelaide Kane) receives an urgent message from her ailing mother (Amy Brenneman, THE LEFTOVERS) about the dire situation in Scotland, she finds herself looking to Francis (Toby Regbo) for aid. Catherine (Megan Follows) finds herself up against Narcisse (Craig Parker) as she fights to become the regent to Charles (Spencer MacPherson, DEGRASSI: THE NEXT GENERATION). Meanwhile, Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten, FLASHPOINT) faces continued pressure to wed. Wednesday, Nov. 11 8 p.m. – THE VOICE – “Live Playoffs, Results” – NEW EPISODE – LIVE The Top 20 artists await America’s vote. The Top 2 performers from each team move through to the live performance shows, and coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and Pharrell Williams save one remaining artist from their team. 9 p.m. – LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT – “Melancholy Pursuit” – NEW EPISODE The hunt for a missing teenage girl takes an emotional toll on Sgt. Mike Dodds (Andy Karl), and DNA evidence becomes a crucial lead in finding the girl’s abductor. Thursday, Nov. 12 8 p.m. – THE VAMPIRE DIARIES – “Best Served Cold” – NEW EPISODE After being reunited with her former love Julian (Todd Lasance, CROWNIES), Lily (Annie Wersching, 24) hosts a dinner party to introduce him to Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley), and to declare peace between her family of Heretics and the residents of Mystic Falls. Damon and Stefan find themselves at an impasse when they realize they have differing views on how to handle Julian’s arrival. At the party, Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Matt (Zach Roerig) uncover a strange mystery involving some unsuspecting residents, while a devastating revelation causes Alaric (Matt Davis) to reach his breaking point. 9 p.m. – SLEEPY HOLLOW – “The Art of War” – NEW EPISODE When FBI Agent Daniel Reynolds (Lance Gross) heads to D.C. to discuss developments in the Nevins case, Lt. Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) is left in command. Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) and Joe (Zach Appelman) deal with unexpected consequences as a result of stealing the shard, which leaves both the lives of the heroes and Abbie’s career in great peril. Meanwhile, a new, more dangerous evil force is revealed. Friday, Nov. 13 8 p.m. – MASTERCHEF JUNIOR – “A Sweet Surprise” – NEW EPISODE Season 2 winner Logan Guleff returns to the MASTERCHEF JUNIOR kitchen and offers some advice to the remaining contestants. The Top 3 contestants from the previous elimination challenge compete in a cupcake-frosting contest, during which only the winner can keep the judges safe from a sticky situation. Then, in the next challenge, the contestants are tasked with making a scallop dish in order to move onto the next round. 9 p.m. – SHARK TANK – NEW EPISODE Synopsis not available.
