TORONTO (March 13, 2020) W5, Canada’s most-watched documentary series, continues to uncover answers and investigate the COVID-19 pandemic with an exclusive interview with Canadian physician and epidemiologist Bruce Aylward, the former Assistant Director-General of the World Health Organization. The episode, entitled Dr. W.H.O., airs this Saturday, March 14 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, the CTV and CTV News apps, and CTVNews.ca.  W5 Investigative Correspondent Avery Haines sits down with Dr. Aylward, the lead investigator on the coronavirus outbreak, for an exclusive interview at the W.H.O. headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. The interview discusses the current circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, important steps that countries need to take to stop the spread of the disease, and actions individuals can take to prevent illness. W5’s documentary builds on Inside Wuhan, last week’s exclusive coverage in the Chinese city where the crisis began. In addition to airing Saturdays at 7 p.m. ET on CTV, W5 also airs Saturdays at 10 p.m. on CTV2 and Sundays (see local listings). W5 is also available on demand at CTVNews.ca/W5, and on the CTV and CTV News apps.
