David Fisher Appointed Vice-President and General Manager of CTV Saskatchewan

REGINA (February 15, 2013) – Len Perry, Regional Vice-President, Radio & TV Operations, Bell Media, Prairies, announces the appointment of David Fisher to the position of Vice-President/General Manager of CTV Saskatchewan. Fisher will now oversee the CTV television stations in Regina, Saskatoon, Yorkton, and Prince Albert.

“David is the ideal choice to lead our TV operations in Saskatchewan,” said Perry. “With his management experience and history in the markets, he’s extremely well positioned to lead the Saskatchewan team.”

A veteran of more than two decades in broadcasting, Fisher started his broadcast career at CTV Saskatoon in 1990, and by 1995 was the Manager of Creative Services. In 1998, he added Promotions to his management duties. Fisher was part of the original team that brought the four CTV Saskatchewan stations together as the Saskatchewan Television Network (STN). In 2002, he was appointed Promotions Manager for CTV Edmonton. In the ensuing years, he served in a range of senior management functions, including a period as Operations Manager for

CTV Edmonton. A recipient of many industry honours including several AMPIA awards, and Promax and Promax World Gold awards, Fisher transitions from Manager of Promotions & Advertising for CTV Edmonton and CTV Two Alberta, to accept his new position.
