DECEMBER 15 – BARBIE and BARBIE WITH ASL *Movie Premiere*

• To live in Barbie Land is to be a perfect being in a perfect place. Unless you have a full-on existential crisis. Or you’re a Ken. From Academy Award-nominated writer/director Greta Gerwig, BARBIE stars Oscar^®-nominees Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken, alongside America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, Ariana Greenblatt, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, and Will Ferrell. BARBIE WITH ASL, the hit blockbuster film interpreted in American Sign Language (ASL) will also be available on December 15. Grounded in research and feedback from the Deaf community, as well as counsel from community leaders, BARBIE WITH ASL was produced featuring ASL performer Leila Hanaumi, and is displayed as its own title on Crave, identified by its key art with the sign language symbol.

DECEMBER 16 – HBO’s LEO REICH: WHO REALLY CARES?! *Stand-Up Special*

• Following rave reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and an Off-Broadway run, this self-diagnosed important young mind faces the swirling uncertainty of our collective future, asking the big questions, such as: “Is this helping?”, “Am I hot?”, and “No offense guys but literally what is going on?” Treading the line between hilarious stand-up and humourless performance art, Leo Reich’s first solo stand-up special blends songs, anecdotes, and anxious non-sequiturs in a valiant attempt to raise awareness about important social and political causes…or something.

DECEMBER 20 – BÖRJE – THE JOURNEY OF A LEGEND *Limited Series Premiere*

• From Viaplay, BÖRJE – THE JOURNEY OF A LEGEND is the true story of Börje Salming’s incredible journey from an outcast struggling to find his place in a society that doesn’t believe in him, to becoming a beloved and world-famous professional hockey player, and one of the first European players in the National Hockey League. The six-part limited drama series traces Salming’s journey as a young boy destined to work in the mines of Kiruna, a small town located in Northern Sweden, to his legendary presence as a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1970s. Starring Valter Skarsgärd as Salming, along with Hedda Stiernstedt, Jason Priestley, A.C. Petersen, Jack Langedijk, Oscar Skagerberg, Kelly Van der Burg, and Jon McClaren, BÖRJE – THE JOURNEY OF A LEGEND debuts with two episodes, followed by a new episode on subsequent Wednesdays.

DECEMBER 20 – HBO’s DANIEL *Documentary Premiere*

• When Daniel Northcott got a hold of his father’s video camera at the age of seven, a lifetime of documenting the world around him began. Growing up, he focused his lens on his family and close friends, and as a young man, he recorded precious moments with the people and places he encountered on his travels, striving to live a life of love, and seek out universal human connection. But Daniel’s world travels abruptly end when he must return home to Vancouver because of health reasons. While undergoing treatment he is haunted by the memory of an ancient Mayan curse, and goes on a quest to put things back where they belong before he runs out of time. DANIEL premieres on Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 9 p.m. ET.
