DECEMBER 16 – STATION ELEVEN *HBO Max Limited Series Premiere*
- Created for television by showrunner Patrick Somerville, the HBO Max Original limited drama series STATION ELEVEN is a post-apocalyptic saga spanning multiple timelines, and tells the stories of survivors of a devastating flu as they attempt to rebuild and reimagine the world anew, while holding on to the best of what’s been lost. The series stars Mackenzie Davis, Himesh Patel, Daniel Zovatto, David Wilmot, Matilda Lawler, Philippine Velge, Nabhaan Rizwan, and Lori Petty, with Gael Garcìa Bernal and Danielle Deadwyler recurring. STATION ELEVEN is based on the international bestseller of the same name by Emily St. John Mandel. The series premieres with three episodes dropping on Thursday, Dec. 16, and the following 7 episodes streaming weekly on subsequent Thursdays.
DECEMBER 16 – HBO Max’s FINDING MAGIC MIKE *Series Premiere*
- From executive producers Channing Tatum and Steven Soderbergh, and the producers behind the Magic Mike franchise and live shows, comes the new HBO Max unscripted competition series, FINDING MAGIC MIKE. The series features 10 men who have ‘lost their magic’, and come together in a competition series like no other. As they strip off their clothes, they will rid themselves of emotional baggage and regain their mojo. Two men are given the opportunity to perform on the blockbuster Magic Mike Live stage in Las Vegas, but only one will win, and take home a cash prize of $100,000. Adam Rodriguez, from the Magic Mike films, is one of the main mentors on the series. The entire seven-episode series is available for streaming on Thursday, Dec. 16.
DECEMBER 16 – HBO’s JUICE WRLD: INTO THE ABYSS *Documentary Premiere*
- The latest documentary in the MUSIC BOX series, JUICE WRLD: INTO THE ABYSS premieres Thursday, Dec. 16 at 8 p.m. ET. Already headed for superstardom and streaming supremacy by the time he was 18, courtesy of his breakout hit “Lucid Dreams,” JUICE WRLD: INTO THE ABYSS captures the Chicago native during the last years of his life as he freestyles with friends, collaborates with music producers, and performs in front of audiences worldwide. The film includes a wealth of never-before-seen footage, including several unreleased tracks, and dozens of industry interviews as it details Juice WRLD’s struggles to reconcile his meteoric rise to fame with underlying mental health issues, and a growing dependency on prescription drugs. As was just announced by HBO, MUSIC BOX will return for a second season.
DECEMBER 17 – SHOWTIME’s ROLLING LIKE THUNDER *Documentary Premiere*
- Before street art became mainstream, the anonymous outlaws of “freight writing” put graffiti on the map. One of the most extreme and risky iterations of the art form, freight train graffiti culture has a rich history, laden with myth-like artists, remarkable romances, and competitive graffiti crews. Delving into the underground subculture reveals the deep connection between graffiti and the American landscape, as well as the artists’ obsession with putting life and limb on the line to make their voices heard. SHOWTIME’s ROLLING LIKE THUNDER premieres Friday, Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. ET.
DECEMBER 17 – HBO’s CHILLIN ISLAND *Series Premiere*
- New York City natives and rap personalities Alec “Despot” Reinstein, Ashok “Dap” Kondabolu, and Aleksey “Lakutis” Weintraub invite their friends to join them at the edge of nature. To commune in deserts and swamps in a valiant effort to reveal unknowable truths from the dreamstate of the shared human existence. The series is executive produced by Josh Safdie (Uncut Gems) and features music industry icons including Young Thug, Lil Yachty, Rosalía, Gunna, Killer Mike, Ski Mask the Slump God, Lil Tecca, Coi Leray, and Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koening. The six-part unscripted series CHILLIN ISLAND begins streaming 17 at 10:30 p.m. ET, with new episodes dropping Fridays.
DECEMBER 22 – HELLO, THIS IS MY PENIS (ÂLLO, VOICI MON PÉNIS) *Crave Original Documentary*
- This sympathetic, but profound and essential investigation, led by Kim Lévesque-Lizotte, aims to clarify why men send photos of their penises. What is behind their “dick pics”? What do these pictures symbolize? Desire, power, exhibitionism, narcissism, sexism, fear of rejection? To find out, the Crave Original documentary tries to elicit answers from both sides.

- Starring RuPaul and 20 queens from RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE, including Brooke Lynn Hytes, THE BITCH WHO STOLE CHRISTMAS is available for streaming now. When a workaholic journalist goes to a small, Christmas-obsessed town to write a hit piece, she falls for a hunky local and winds up embroiled in a high-stakes winter pageant.
