DECEMBER 2 – HBO Max’s SANTA INC. *Season 1*
  • HBO Max’s eight-episode, half-hour adult animated series, SANTA INC., tells the story of Candy Smalls (Sarah Silverman), the highest-ranking elf in the North Pole. When the successor to Santa Claus (Seth Rogen) is poached by Amazon on Christmas Eve, Candy goes for her ultimate dream – to become the first female Santa Claus in the history of Christmas. The series also features the voices of Leslie Grossman, Gabourey Sidibe, Craig Robinson, Nicholas Braun, Joel Kim Booster, and Maria Bamford. All episodes from Season 1 drop Thursday, Dec. 2 on Crave.
  DECEMBER 2 – HBO’s LISTENING TO KENNY G *Documentary Premiere*
  • Following its recent premiere at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival, A portrait of one of the most beloved figures in jazz, HBO’s LISTENING TO KENNY G premieres Thursday, Dec. 2 at 8 p.m. ET. Directed by Penny Lane (Hail Satan?) and part of the MUSIC BOX series, LISTENING TO KENNY G is a portrait of one of the most beloved figures in jazz: the artist formerly known as Kenneth Gorelick. The documentary unravels the allure of the man who played jazz so smoothly, that a whole new genre formed around him. In his own words, Kenny G speaks candidly about his musical background, his stringent work ethic, and his controversial standing in the jazz canon.
  DECEMBER 3 – Kids TV, Preschool Fun, and DC Superheroes
  • Beginning Friday, Dec. 3, Crave expands its kids collection with even more great family-friendly content, including the addition of popular DC/Super Hero titles such as: BATMAN: YEAR ONE; BATMAN: DARK KNIGHT RETURNS PART 1 & PART 2; GREEN LANTERN: FIRST FLIGHT; WONDER WOMAN; JUSTICE LEAGUE: THE NEW FRONTIER; and SUPERMAN: UNBOUND, plus the DIGIMON ADVENTURE TRI series. Other titles that join hits on Crave such as PAW PATROL: PUP TALES include; BLIPPI VISITS; ALVINNN!!! AND THE CHIPMUNKS; PAC-MAN AND THE GHOSTLY ADVENTURES; POLLY POCKET; THE GARFIELD SHOW; and more. Additional titles join the collection in January including: DANIEL TIGER Seasons 1 and 2; ABBY HATCHER Season 2; CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG; THOMAS & FRIENDS Season 20; TEAM HOT WHEELS; ADVENTURES OF TINTIN, and more.
  DECEMBER 5 – VIGIL *Limited Series Premiere*
  • From the makers of LINE OF DUTY, this police procedural follows the mysterious disappearance of a Scottish fishing trawler and a death on board the submarine HMS Vigil which brings the police into conflict with the Navy and British security services. DCI Amy Silva (Suranne Jones) and DS Kirsten Longacre (Rose Leslie) lead an investigation on land and at sea into a conspiracy that goes to the very heart of Britain’s national security. VIGIL premieres with two episodes on Sunday, Dec. 5, followed by a weekly release schedule with two new episodes dropping Sundays on STARZ.
  DECEMBER 6 – HBO’s THE FOREVER PRISONER *Documentary Premiere*
  • From acclaimed director Alex Gibney (THE CRIME OF THE CENTURY, The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley), THE FOREVER PRISONER streams Monday, Dec. 6 at 10 p.m. ET. The documentary reveals the origins of the clandestine operations that led the United States, in the “War on Terror,” on a path of cruelty, deceit, and self-deception. With new revelations, captivating, and first-hand accounts from the first two interrogators to question Abu Zubaydah, the film uncovers the incompetent and deceptive practices that the U.S. government followed to expedite and legalize enhanced interrogation techniques in the aftermath of 9/11. As a result, torture as a government policy was authorized by the United States for the first time in history.
  DECEMBER 6 – HBO’s LANDSCAPERS *Limited Series Premiere*
  • HBO’s four-part limited series LANDSCAPERS, starring Emmy® and Oscar®-winner Olivia Colman (THE CROWN) and Emmy-nominee David Thewlis (FARGO), debuts Monday, Dec. 6 at 9 p.m. ET. Inspired by real-life events, LANDSCAPERS tells a unique love story involving Chris and Susan Edwards (Thewlis and Colman), a seemingly ordinary British couple who become the focus of an extraordinary investigation when two dead bodies are discovered in the back garden of a house in Nottingham. Will Sharpe (The Electrical Life of Louis Wain) directs the exploration of love and fantasy, which is created and written by screenwriter Ed Sinclair. The series follows a weekly release schedule, with new episodes available to stream Mondays.
