TORONTO (June 24, 2016) – Summer has officially arrived and Discovery and its networks are celebrating by unveiling its complete schedule for the season. Kicking off Discovery’s red-hot programming slate is everyone’s favourite annual event SHARK WEEK, airing throughout primetime from Sunday, June 26 to Sunday, July 3 beginning at 8 p.m. ET; followed by the debut of original Canadian series MADE BY DESTRUCTION airing back-to-back episodes on Mondays at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. ET beginning July 4; and original Canadian special JUPITER: CLOSE ENCOUNTER airing Tuesday, July 5 at 7 p.m. ET. The summer slate continues with all-new series and specials joining the mix of premieres. Airing Sundays at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. ET beginning July 10, Discovery joins six top recording artists to share stories of the animal kingdom in HELLO WORLD! Then, later this summer, Discovery travels beneath the ocean’s surface in SONIC SEA to uncover the damaging consequences of increased ocean noise pollution, premiering Sunday, July 31 at 7 p.m. ET. Throughout the summer months, Discovery will feature new episode debuts from current seasons of hit series including ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE (Mondays at 9 p.m. ET), BITCHIN’ RIDES (Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET), and BERING SEA GOLD (Sundays at 10 p.m. ET).
