TORONTO (July 6, 2021) – Discovery’s schedule is swarming with stars as the fan-favourite summer event, SHARK WEEK, launches July 11, packed with more than 25 hours of brand-new shark-centric programming, with special premieres featuring celebrity guests. Highlights include:
  • TIFFANY HADDISH DOES SHARK WEEK (July 11), which sees the blockbuster comedian attempt to live out her SHARK WEEK fantasies to mixed results.
  • STAR TREK icon William Shatner and Josh Gates teaming up for EXPEDITION UNKNOWN: SHARK TREK (July 12).
  • BRAD PAISLEY’S SHARK COUNTRY (July 13) sees the country star duet with comedian J.B. Smoove to see what effect music can have on sharks.
  • Ian Ziering and Tara Reid reteam for THE REAL SHARKNADO (July 14) to see if a Sharknado could actually happen.
