Dome Productions Acquires Mobile Assets of CBC/Radio-Canada

TORONTO (June 23, 2015) – Dome Productions, one of North America’s leading production facilities providers, today announced the acquisition of CBC/Radio-Canada’s mobile assets. The purchase includes CBC/Radio-Canada’s three HD production mobiles, three support units, and all associated assets. “We are thrilled to add these trucks – which we are already very familiar with ? to our ever-growing fleet,” said Mary Ellen Carlyle, Senior Vice-President and General Manager, Dome Productions. “Our business has grown considerably over the past several years and this added capacity will help us better serve our intercompany partners as well as continue to expand our presence in the US.” Dome Productions and CBC/Radio-Canada have also agreed that Dome will be the sole supplier for the rental of TV mobile production facilities for both CBC and Radio-Canada in the future.
