Dreadful news on the Day of the Dead: PENNY DREADFUL: CITY OF ANGELS is coming from SHOWTIME®

As Day of the Dead was observed around the world and an all-new Crave launched in Canada yesterday, SHOWTIME^® confirmed a new installment of the PENNY DREADFUL saga, PENNY DREADFUL: CITY OF ANGELS. The series will premiere live on the all-new Crave, the home of SHOWTIME^® programming in Canada. PENNY DREADFUL: CITY OF ANGELS opens in 1930s Los Angeles, in a time and place deeply infused with Mexican-American folklore and social tension. Rooted in the conflict between characters connected to the deity Santa Muerte and others allied with the Devil, the series will explore an exciting mix of the supernatural and the combustible reality of that period, creating new occult myths and moral dilemmas against a genuine historical backdrop.
