EDMONTON (October 10, 2013) – Preparing for the morning commute just got a whole lot better. On Tuesday, Oct. 15, traffic specialist Kimberly Wynn navigates her way to the CTV MORNING LIVE team, joining co-hosts Rob Williams and Stacey Brotzel, and weather specialist Jesse Beyer. Wynn rounds out the team, delivering up-to-the-minute rush-hour updates using the latest traffic forecasting technology, flagging the problem areas and offering viewers the best routes to make the morning commute as safe and as easy as possible. Airing weekday mornings from 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., CTV MORNING LIVE is an energetic and lively three-and-a-half hours of the latest news, weather, and traffic – everything Edmontonians need to start their day.
Having called Edmonton home since she was eight years old, Wynn has a clear understanding of the two seasons in Edmonton: winter and construction.
“From Twin brooks on the South Side to Clareview on the North end and Central Glenora, I’ve pretty much lived everywhere,” said Wynn. “Edmonton is a fantastic city during all seasons. I love outdoor music festivals in the summer and skating at William Hawrelak Park in the winter. Unfortunately, winter can also mean black ice and white out conditions, creating serious road chaos. That’s where I come in. I’m proud to be part of the city’s most entertaining and knowledgeable morning team, and to help make the morning rush easier.”
