TORONTO – Ahead of his highly anticipated new album, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran sits down with ETALKs Chloe Wilde in a Canadian broadcast exclusive to talk about his most vulnerable and honest music yet, beginning Monday, May 1 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app. Filmed in New York City, the week-long celebration features nightly segments on ETALK through May 5, culminating with the release of Subtract, the final album in Sheeran’s mathematical music era. ETALK, which was awarded a 2023 Canadian Screen Award for Best Entertainment News Program or Series, will also post extended features on YouTube. Sheeran, who kicks off his North American “Mathematics” stadium tour on May 6, opens up about his experience being a parent, and gushes over being a “proud girl dad” to his two daughters. Sheeran describes having kids as “the best thing I’ve ever done with my life” and speaks about how parenthood both changed his perspective on his career and influenced his music. The conversation also touches on grief, his friendship with Taylor Swift, and his return to social media.
