From August 25 to September 8, RDS will present over 115 hours of live tennis from the US Open, the season’s fourth and final Grand Slam tournament. RDS will be closely following the progress of Canadians in the field, including 7th seed Eugenie Bouchard and 5th seed Milos Raonic.

The 2014 edition of the US Open also features world number one and 1st seed Novak Djokovic as well as 2nd seed Roger Federer. Reigning champion Rafael Nadal will be absent from Flushing Meadows because of an injury. On the women’s side, world number one and defending champion Serena Williams will seek to retain her title against rivals such as 2nd seed Simona Halep, 3rd seed Petra Kvitova and 5th seed Maria Sharapova.

Yvan Ponton and Hélène Pelletier will handle play-by-play and colour commentary, respectively, throughout the tournament. Journalist Anouk Grignon-L’Anglais will be on site at Flushing Meadows, and will cover the prestigious event for different RDS platforms such as the bulletin Sports 30.
