TORONTO (January 7, 2014) – Step aside, there’s a new girl in town. Ambitious transgender beauty Jenna Talackova continues to take the world by storm in E!’s all-new original Canadian series BRAVE NEW GIRLS, debuting Sunday, Jan. 19 at 10 p.m. ET. The unscripted, eight-episode, 30-minute series follows the highly-anticipated Season 9 premiere of KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS at 9 p.m. ET and right before the jet-setting, fun-employed #RICHKIDS OF BEVERLY HILLS take viewers inside their luxe lives at 10:30 p.m. ET.
“We fully believe that BRAVE NEW GIRLS will shine in the timeslot following E!’s #1 program, KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS,” said Catherine MacLeod, Senior Vice-President, Specialty Channels, Bell Media. “Jenna and her entourage of strong and intriguing women will enhance our stellar Sunday night lineup.”
BRAVE NEW GIRLS follows the glam life of Jenna Talackova, the transgender model who skyrocketted to fame when she took on Donald Trump for the right to compete in the Miss Universe pageant – and won. The series begins as she packs up and moves from her hometown of Vancouver to Toronto to pursue her career of becoming a top model, actor, and television host. Supporting Jenna on her new adventure is her fun-loving cousin, confidant, and sometimes nemesis Angela, and her best friend Dajana, a level-headed stunner who keeps Jenna in check. BRAVE NEW GIRLS follows the lives of these young, gorgeous, up-and-comers as they strive for success, love and the spotlight. Click HERE for a sneak peek at BRAVE NEW GIRLS.

In the premiere episode of KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS (Sunday, Jan. 19 at 9 p.m. ET on E!), the family openly discuss their feelings about Kris and Bruce living apart, and Kourtney and Kim make it their mission to support Khloé, who faces continuing uncertainty about the future of her marriage to Lamar. Meanwhile, Rob commits himself to his designer sock business and moves into his own place, while younger sister Kendall contemplates moving into a home of her own as well.
Immediately following KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS, BRAVE NEW GIRLS kicks off with the premiere episode, “Bright Lights, Big City” (Sunday, Jan. 19 at 10 p.m. ET) as beauty queen Jenna packs up her life in Vancouver and moves to Toronto. With the help of her outrageous cousin Angela, best friend Dajana, and talented publicist Vanessa, Jenna is ready to use her new celebrity status to launch a successful career – but she quickly learns that sometimes fame can be a double-edged sword.
Then, whoever said money can’t buy happiness has never met the #RICHKIDS OF BEVERLY HILLS (Sunday, Jan. 19 at 10:30 p.m. ET). This brand new series follows the extravagant lifestyles of an exclusive clique of friends who have gained internet celebrity by documenting their fabuluxe lives on social media. These young socialites of the 90210 go way beyond the highlife in a world where millionaire twenty-somethings are armed with black cards, tiny dogs, and loads of Louboutins. But money isn’t everything and each of these outspoken young adults, some driven by their parents’ looming threat to cut off their funds, are trying to find their place in the world and make names for themselves.
BRAVE NEW GIRLS is produced by Peacock Alley Entertainment in association with E! and Bell Media. Carrie Mudd is President, Peacock Alley and Producer. Tina Apostolopoulos and Kara Haflidson are Production Executives for Bell Media. Corrie Coe is Senior Vice-President, Independent Production, Bell Media. Catherine MacLeod is Senior Vice-President, Specialty Channels, Bell Media. Phil King is President, CTV, Sports, and Entertainment Programming.
