  Game Day Notes: France vs. Colombia The only meeting between the nations came at London 2012 Olympic Games. France won that match 1-0. Met in group stage at 2010 U-20 FIFA Women’s World Cup playing to a 1-1 draw.   France 

• France beat England 1-0 in first group game
• France, in their third FIFA Women’s World Cup, have won four of their seven group stage matches (4W/1D/2L)
• Met CONMEBOL opposition only once at the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Drew 1-1 with Brazil in 2003 group stage

  Colombia 

• Tied Mexico 1-1 in first group game
• Daniela Montoya’s goal in the draw was Colombia’s first ever FIFA Women’s World Cup goal in its second participation
