At theconclusion of tonight’s episode of CTV’s THEAMAZING RACE CANADA, it was revealed that Brett and Holly, married doctorsfrom Montreal, were the fifth team eliminated from the competition series. The harshtundra of Iqaluit, Nunavut pushed the couple to their limit when the “igloochallenge” turned out to be much more physical than anticipated. Inevitably, itwas their decision to switch to the “harpoon hunter challenge” –where it took Holly 28 throws to hit the target– that resulted in their elimination.

“It wasnice to see that even in the most gruelling of days we still held it together,supported each other, and didn’t fall apart,” said Holly about their experienceon THE AMAZING RACE CANADA.
Next week on THEAMAZING RACE CANADA (airing Monday, Sept. 2 at 9 p.m.ET/PT on CTV and liveon CTV Mobile), the remaining four teams race out ofNunavut and into Nova Scotia, but Vanessa and Celina have a hard time getting “ingear.” Then, Dave loses patience with Jet at a scary Roadblock and the stakesare raised at the second U-Turn of the Race. The remaining competitors vyingfor the historic half a million dollar grand prize are:
