HBO drops teaser for new limited series SHARP OBJECTS, from director Jean-Marc Vallée and starring Amy Adams

ICYMI, HBO has released a tease trailer for SHARP OBJECTS, the highly-anticipated new limited drama series from award-winning Canadian director Jean-Marc Vallée (BIG LITTLE LIES). HBO also revealed the eight-episode drama will debut in July. Watch the teaser below. Based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl), SHARP OBJECTS stars Amy Adams as reporter Camille Preaker, who returns to her small hometown to cover the murders of two pre-teen girls. Trying to put together a psychological puzzle from her past, she finds herself identifying with the young victims a bit too closely. The limited series also stars Patricia Clarkson, Chris Messina, Eliza Scanlen, Elizabeth Perkins, and Matt Craven. SHARP OBJECTS premieres in July on HBO Canada.
