High-Profile Guests Announced for First Two Episodes of THE ALEC BALDWIN SHOW

Smart, intimate, compelling, and unfiltered, THE ALEC BALDWIN SHOW, premiering Sunday, Oct. 14 at 10 p.m. ET/8 p.m. MT on CTV, uses Golden Globe® and Emmy® Award-winning actor Alec Baldwin’s unfiltered and provocative interview style  to bring out never-before-told stories from some of the biggest celebrities and cultural icons of our time. While recently talking with The Wall Street Journal, Alec mentioned that he created his podcast with WNYC, Here’s The Thing, so that he could interview people the way he wanted to be interviewed, “where they feel comfortable and there’s no judgment,” stated Baldwin to The Wall Street Journal. “When you don’t appear to be manipulating them and trying to take something from them, they give it to you anyway. If you don’t pressure them, they’re much more comfortable and amenable.”  This gives viewers some great insight on what to expect this season on THE ALEC BALDWIN SHOW. Interviews for the premiere episode streaming on CTV Sunday, Oct. 14 at 10 p.m. ET/8 p.m. MT include: Robert De Niro Alec Baldwin kicks off the season with a conversation with acting legend, successful businessman, and native New Yorker Robert De Niro. They discuss his unparalleled career, six children, success in the restaurant and hotel business, and today’s politics. Next up is Taraji P. Henson, the determined actress talks to Baldwin about her career, being a mom, her upcoming first marriage and the role in EMPIRE that brought her back to the world of television. Interview for the full second episode streaming on CTV Sunday, Oct. 21 at 10 p.m. ET/8 p.m. MT: Kim Kardashian West: Reality star, entrepreneur and cultural phenom Kim Kardashian West spends the hour talking to Baldwin about her famous family including husband Kanye West, her impressive journey from reality star to entrepreneur and her recent political advocacy. Additional guests confirmed for later this season include:
  • Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who recently announced the creation of Children’s Health Defense.
  • RuPaul, who was just announced as a judge for a brand new global talent show, alongside Drew Barrymore and hosted by James Corden.
  • Kerry Washington, currently starring in American Son on Broadway.
  • Former President of Planned Parenthood Cecile Richards, a pro-choice activist who served as the president of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
  • Jeff Bridges, currently starring in the film Bad Times at the El Royale.
  • Sarah Jessica Parker, the DIVORCE star just opened up a shoe boutique in New York, and is starring in the film Here and Now.
  • Former Governor of New Jersey Chris Christie.
  • Canadian treasure Mike Myers.
  • Regina King, who recently spoke to Variety about breaking down racial barriers.
  • Gloria Allred, a women’s rights attorney notable for taking high-profile and often controversial cases, particularly those involving the protection of women’s rights.
  • The always entertaining Ricky Gervais.
  • Prime Minister of Norway, Erna Solberg
