TORONTO (January 12, 2013) – Toronto Maple Leafs fans have a new destination to listen to their favourite team, as TSN Radio 1050 in Toronto is home to 24 regular season games this season. Fans can set their dial to official Leafs radio broadcaster AM1050 in the Greater Toronto Area and worldwide at TSN1050.ca for live game broadcasts – including extensive pre- and post-game shows – along with comprehensive coverage of the Original Six franchise.

TSN Radio 1050’s game coverage kicks off on Saturday, Jan. 19 – opening night of the 2013 NHL season – with live coverage of Toronto @ Montreal at 6 p.m. ET (see complete broadcast schedule below).

Calling the action on TSN Radio 1050 are play-by-play commentators Joe “The Voice of the Leafs” Bowen and Dan Dunleavy, and long-time Leafs radio colour analyst Jim Ralph. Additional highlights of TSN Radio 1050’s 24-game Leafs regular season broadcast schedule are:
• Four games against the Montreal Canadiens and one game each against the Ottawa Senators and Winnipeg Jets
• Three games against superstar Sidney Crosby, 2011-12 Hart Trophy winner Evgeni Malkin and the Pittsburgh Penguins
• Two games against conference rivals, the Boston Bruins

TSN Radio 1050’s Jim Tatti and Scott Macarthur host 60-minute pre- and post-game shows and intermissions for every Leafs game. Joining Tatti and Macarthur are NHL ON TSN analyst Jamie McLennan and Toronto Sun columnist Steve Simmons to break down the match-ups, along with Leafs reporter Jonas Siegel at home and on the road with the team, and contributions from TSN’s hockey experts and Insiders including Darren Dreger.

In addition, TSN Radio 1050 sets the table for the Leafs season opener on Jan. 19 with a special four-hour live broadcast hosted by Bryan Hayes and Siegel from Bell Centre in Montreal beginning at 2 p.m. ET.
