CraveTVTM’s #iCraveFridays release schedule continues today with the launch of two new HBO titles including the award-winning mini-series ELIZABETH I and SARAH SILVERMAN: WE ARE MIRACLES exclusively available on CraveTV.
Directed by Academy® Award-Winner Tom Hooper (The King’s Speech), the multi-Emmy-winning HBO mini-series ELIZABETH I stars Helen Mirren (The Queen) and can be found in the HBO, Drama, Historic TV, British TV, and the What’s New Collections.
Silverman’s Emmy® Award-winning special SARAH SILVERMAN: WE ARE MIRACLES is the comedian’s first solo HBO special. It originally aired in 2013 and can be found in the HBO,Comedy and Stand-Up Comedy, and the What’s New collections.

This two-part, three-hour mini-series, is set in the late 1500s and depicts the final 24 years of Queen Elizabeth I’s reign over England. Helen Mirren captivates viewers while upholding Elizabeth I as a revolutionary woman who ruled in a male-dominated world.
Part 1 of the mini-series focuses on the Queen’s relationship with the Earl of Leicester (Jeremy Irons, THE BORGIAS, The Lion King), a man for whom Elizabeth I clearly carries a torch. Overcoming war, treason, illness, and pressure for Elizabeth I to take a French suitor, the relationship proves to be tumultuous.
In Part 2, she becomes infatuated with the much younger Earl of Essex (Hugh Dancy, HANNIBAL, Black Hawk Down). The affair ultimately does not work out, and a clash with the Queen’s beloved advisor Cecil has devastating results for the Earl of Essex.
In 2006 and 2007, ELIZABETH I won nine Primetime Emmy® Awards, three Golden Globe® Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards®.
SARAH SILVERMAN: WE ARE MIRACLES
Silverman’s sharp-witted humour is on full display as she tackles a number of controversial and odd topics. The hour-long show was filmed in front of an intimate audience at the Largo nightclub in Los Angeles.
