CraveTVTM’s #iCraveFridays release schedule continues today with the premiere of the critically acclaimed HBO dark comedy, ENLIGHTENED, exclusively on CraveTV. Academy Award® nominee Laura Dern (Rambling Rose, Wild) stars as Amy Jellicoe, a self-centred corporate executive recovering from an epic meltdown at work.
ENLIGHTENED, which developed a cult following during its two-season run, joins CraveTV’s HBO Collection and can also be found in the Dramas and ComediesCollections.

Written by Mike White (School of Rock, FREAKS AND GEEKS), ENLIGHTENED follows Amy Jellicoe, a highly successful, yet self-destructive corporate executive. After a series of bad decisions leads to a mental breakdown, Jellicoe leaves her life behind for a three-month stay at a treatment facility in Hawaii.
She returns with an enlightened perspective on life. However, her estranged mother (Dern’s real-life mother, Diane Ladd, Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore), drug-addicted ex-husband (Luke Wilson, The Royal Tenenbaums, Old School), and a demotion at work complicate her recovery process.
Originally premiering in 2011, the series was nominated for numerous awards, with Laura Dern receiving a Golden Globe Award®.
