PARADE’S END The five-episode British mini-series PARADE’S END follows the life of Christopher Tietjen, an upper-class British gentleman. Married to the beautiful, yet unfaithful Sylvia (Rebecca Hall, The Prestige, Iron Man 3), he falls in love with Valentine (Adelaide Clemens, The Great Gatsby), a suffragette. With a tumultuous backdrop of World War I and the women’s right’s movement, Christopher must ultimately make a choice between the adoring Valentine, or honouring the commitment to a manipulative wife. Originally premiering in 2012, the series was nominated for numerous awards since its original broadcast, including five Primetime Emmy® Awards. 7 DEADLY SINS From Oscar-nominated producer Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me, The Greatest Movie Ever Sold), the seven-episode documentary series 7 DEADLY SINS explores the seven deadly sins of Christianity in modern society, with each half-hour episode dedicated to one sin. From gluttony in the form of a 700-pound woman, to a Las Vegas restaurant titled the Heart Attack Grill, Spurlock uses dark humour while portraying strange human behaviour.– 30 –
