Crave

CraveTVTM’s #iCraveFridays release schedule continues tomorrow with the debut of SHOWTIME documentary DAVID BECKHAM: INTO THE UNKNOWN and DEADBEAT. DAVID BECKHAM: INTO THE UNKNOWN is from Emmy®-nominated executive producer Simon Fuller (AMERICAN IDOL, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE). The 90-minute film follows former soccer superstar David Beckham on his journey through Brazil. After a 22-year career in the spotlight, Beckham is on a mission to find freedom with three friends as he motorcycles through unfamiliar territory in Brazil. DAVID BECKHAM: INTO THE UNKNOWN joins CraveTV’s SHOWTIME, Documentary, and What’s New collections. As previously announced earlier this week, DEADBEAT Season 1 stars Canadian Tyler Labine (BREAKER HIGH, Rise of the Planet of the Apes). Labine plays medium-for-hire Kevin “Pac” Pacalioglu who helps ghosts finish their unfinished business. Along the way he encounters a hot-dog eating champion, the Swedish Mafia, and develops a rivalry with famous medium Camomile White (Cat Deely, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE). DEADBEAT joins CraveTV’s Featured, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Sitcoms, Comedies, and What’s New collections.

DAVID BECKHAM: INTO THE UNKNOWN Originally premiering in 2014, the SHOWTIME documentary DAVID BECKHAM: INTO THE UNKNOWN follows a retired David Beckham itching for freedom after two decades of his very public career imposing a strict schedule. Beckham and three of his closest friends set off on a motorcycle adventure through Brazil, trekking deep into the Amazon rainforest. The group meets the Yanonami tribe, a remote indigenous population unaware of sports, and of soccer star Beckham. Filled with heartwarming moments and humorous antics, the film gives viewers a never-before-seen glimpse into the life of David Beckham, showing a unique side of the talented athlete.
