The announcement comes as the channel experiences its most-watched broadcast year to date ever after a steady quarterly audience increase. Anchoring the schedule is the Season 2 premiere of popular Canadian series
FEAR THY NEIGHBOR (
Wednesdays at
10 p.m. ET, beginning
April 27), which follows the disturbing tales of those with the misfortune to unwittingly take up residence within a stone’s throw of a psychopath or killer.
In what is anticipated to be its most-watched broadcast year ever, viewership for Investigation Discovery is up 19% among Total Viewers and 4% among the key Adult 25-54 demo to date (Aug. 31, 2015 – March 27, 2016), and new audience highs have been reached each quarter vs. the same time periods last year (Aug. 31, 2015 – Nov. 29, 2015 up 35%, and Nov. 30, 2015 – Feb 28, 2016 up 20%).

FEAR THY NEIGHBOR, wealthy neighbours in Carmel Canyon, California, get into a dispute involving everything from shared roads and bridges to upkeep of their respective properties. Anger finally boils over and the feud is resolved with fatal gunfire.
