  • The Academy Award-winning film JUDAS & THE BLACK MESSIAH begins streaming Friday, July 2. Based on real events, the film tells the story of FBI informant William O’Neal (LaKeith Stanfield, ATLANTA) who infiltrates the Illinois Black Panther Party and is tasked with keeping tabs on their charismatic leader, Chairman Fred Hampton (Daniel Kaluuya, who took home the Oscar for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for the film). A career thief, O’Neal revels in the danger of manipulating both his comrades and his handler, Special Agent Roy Mitchell (Jesse Plemons, Fargo). Hampton’s political prowess grows just as he’s falling in love with fellow revolutionary Deborah Johnson (Dominique Fishback, THE DEUCE). Meanwhile, a battle wages for O’Neal’s soul; will he align with the forces of good? Or, will he subdue Hampton and The Panthers by any means, as FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover commands?
JULY 2 – INTERGALACTIC *Series Premiere*
  • All eight episodes of the sci-fi series INTERGALACTIC drop Friday, July 2, after being rescheduled from its original premiere in June. Written by award-winning showrunner, Julie Gearey (PRISONERS’ WIVE), INTERGALACTIC tells the story of a fearless young cop and galactic pilot, Ash Harper (Savannah Steyn, A DISCOVERY OF WITCHES), who has her glittering career ripped away from her after being wrongly convicted of a treasonous crime, and exiled to a distant prison colony. But on the way there, Ash’s fellow convicts stage a mutiny and seize control of their prison transfer ship.
JULY 2 – MTV’s RUN’S HOUSE *Season 1-6 Premiere*
  • All six seasons of the classic MTV reality series RUN’S HOUSE drop on Crave Friday, July 2. Originally premiering in 2005, the series follows family patriarch Rev Run, a.k.a. former Run–D.M.C. rapper Joseph Simmons, and his wife Justine as they raise a family of five kids. The family opens their doors and hearts to MTV cameras, following them at their family home in Saddle River, New Jersey, the Simmons offices in Manhattan, New York, and the apartment shared by Simmons’ daughters, Vanessa and Angela, in Los Angeles, California. Through the good times and bad, The Rev works to strike a balance between being a father, a reverend, and an icon, all in his attempt to keep rap’s royal family securely grounded while living a uniquely privileged lifestyle.
