Pictures in association with HBO Documentary Films, THE COMMANDANT’S SHADOW follows Hans Jürgen Höss, the 87-year-old son of Rudolf Höss, as he faces his father’s terrible legacy for the first time: his father was the camp commandant of Auschwitz and masterminded the murder of over a million Jews. Now, THE COMMANDANT’S SHADOW tells the story of some of the real people who lived on the other side of the wall at Höss’s concentration camp. The film premieres Thursday, July 18 at 9 p.m. ET.

CHARLIE HUSTLE & THE MATTER OF PETE ROSE takes a retrospective journey, spanning more than 60 years, to tell the story of baseball’s all-time hits leader whose on-field achievements and off-field transgressions have made him one of the most polarizing figures in all of sports.
