MUST-WATCH TITLES FOR JULY **Note: Schedule Subject to Change**  July 2 – Crave Original Series CANADA’S DRAG RACE *Series Premiere* (9 p.m. ET)

• Yes, Honey! The inaugural season of CANADA’S DRAG RACE is finally here, and is set to have viewers clutching their royal pearls as 12 of the fiercest queens in the land showcase their Canadian Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve, and Talent to compete to become Canada’s First Drag Superstar. With Snatch Game, Rumail, the reading challenge, puppets, makeovers, and gag-worthy untucked sessions, CANADA’S DRAG RACE serves up fan-favourites from RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE, but with a dash of maple-flavoured Canadian realness. Each episode tests the queens’ talents, and challenges them to master singing, dancing, acting, impersonation, costume making, and improvisation.

  July 9 – HBO Max Series EXPECTING AMY *New Docuseries*

• The three-part documentary series EXPECTING AMY is an uplifting and intimate view into comedian Amy Schumer’s life on tour and creating a stand-up special during her difficult pregnancy. The docuseries is directed and edited by Alexander Hammer. All three episodes drop on Crave on Thursday, July 9.

July 3 – FORD V FERRARI *Movie Premiere*

• The Oscar^®-winning film FORD VS FERRARI follows American car designer Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon) and driver Ken Miles (Christian Bale) as they battle corporate interference and the laws of physics to build a revolutionary race car for Ford in order to defeat Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1966.

July 12 – STARZ’s P-VALLEY *Series Premiere*

• P-VALLEY, created by actor, writer, and producer Katori Hall, follows the lives of strip club dancers working down in the Dirty Delta. The new drama series stars Brandee Evans (THE BOBBY BROWN STORY), Nicco Annan (THIS IS US), Shannon Thornton (POWER, DYNASTY), Elarica Johnson (HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE), J. Alphonse Nicholson (JUST MERCY), Parker Swayers (SOUTHSIDE WITH YOU), and MOROCCO OMARI (HOMELAND). 

July 10 – HARRIET *Movie Premiere*

• Kasi Lemmon’s Oscar^®-nominated drama HARRIET tells the extraordinary tale of Harriet Tubman’s escape from slavery and transformation into one of America’s greatest heroes, whose courage, ingenuity, and tenacity freed hundreds of slaves and changed the course of history. The film stars Cynthia Erivo (HBO’s THE OUTSIDER) as Harriet. 

July 17 – THE SONG OF NAMES *Crave Original Film Premiere*

• François Girard’s THE SONG OF NAMES follows a man searching for his childhood best friend — a Polish violin prodigy orphaned in the Holocaust — who vanished decades before on the night of his first public performance. An official selection of the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival, the drama stars Tim Roth (PULP FICTION) and Clive Owen (CLOSER). The film was nominated for nine Canadian Screen Awards, and won five in Achievement in Overall Sound, Achievement in Sound Editing, Achievement in Makeup, Achievement in Music – Original Score and Original Song.

  HIGHLIGHTS July 5 – SHOWTIME’s OUTCRY *Season 1*

• OUTCRY is five-part documentary series examining the gripping story of high school football star Greg Kelley and a quest for truth and justice. Few people experience the momentum that Kelley had going into his senior year in Leander, Texas. That all changed when he was convicted of sexual assault of a four-year-old boy, and sentenced to 25 years in prison with no possibility for parole. But a groundswell of support emerged for Kelley, calling into question the investigation, the prosecution’s tactics and ultimately, the validity of the conviction. All five episodes drop on Crave on Sunday, July 5.

July 24 – LAST CHRISTMAS *Movie Premiere*

• It’s Christmas in July as LAST CHRISTMAS follows Kate (Emilia Clarke, GAME OF THRONES) a young woman subscribed to bad decisions. Working as an elf in a year round Christmas store is not good for the wannabe singer; however, she meets Tom (Henry Golding) there. Her life takes a new turn and for Kate, it seems too good to be true. Paul Feig’s romantic comedy also stars Henry Golding (CRAZY RICH ASIANS), Emma Thompson (LOVE ACTUALLY), and Michelle Yeoh (CRAZY RICH ASIANS).

July 1 – DOCTOR WHO *Season 12*

• Following its broadcast run on CTV Sci-Fi, Season 12 of DOCTOR WHO drops on Crave. This season follows further adventures in time and space of the alien adventurer known as the Doctor and their companions from the planet Earth.

July 1 – SOUTH PARK *Season 23*

• Following its broadcast run on CTV Comedy, the 23rd season of the animated series SOUTH PARK drops on Crave. The comedy series follows the misadventures of four irreverent grade-schoolers in the quiet, dysfunctional town of South Park, Colorado.

July 3 – THE JESUS ROLLS *Movie Premiere*

• THE JESUS ROLLS, spin-off of THE BIG LEBOWSKI (1998), follows the story of notable bowler, Jesus Quintana (John Turturro). Hours after his release from prison, Jesus pairs up with fellow misfits Petey (Bobby Cannavale) and Marie (Audrey Tautou) for a freewheeling joyride of petty crime and romance.

July 24 – PORTRAIT OF A LADY ON FIRE *Movie Premiere*

• The critically acclaimed romantic drama PORTRAIT OF A LADY ON FIRE takes place on an isolated island in Brittany, France at the end of the eighteenth century. A young painter, Marianne, is commissioned to do the wedding portrait of Héloïse without her knowing. Therefore, Marianne must observe her model by day to paint her portrait at night. Day by day, the two women become closer as they share Héloïse’s last moments of freedom before the impending wedding.

July 24 – HBO’s ROOM 104 *Season 4 Premiere* (11 p.m. ET)

• ROOM 104 returns for its fourth and final season Friday, July 24 at 11 p.m. ET. The late-night, half-hour anthology comedy series created by Mark and Jay Duplass (HBO’s ANIMALS and TOGETHERNESS), returns with 12 new episodes, each telling a unique and unexpected tale of the characters who pass through a single room of a typical American chain motel. While the setting stays the same, every episode of the series features a different story, with the tone, plot, characters, and even the time period changing with each installment.
