TORONTO (July 14, 2016) – Final data from Numeris confirms that the July 1 Season 2 premieres of Space original series KILLJOYS and Canadian series DARK MATTER grew by 25% in the key A18-49 demo. With an average audience of 444,000 for KILLJOYS at 9 p.m. ET and 448,000 for DARK MATTER at 10 p.m. ET, Space was the most-watched channel in Canada among the key A25-54 and A18-49 demos during their timeslots. On social media, both #Killjoys and #DarkMatter were trending topics on both sides of the border, landing both hashtags in the Top 10 throughout their broadcast. Season 1 of KILLJOYS is available now on CraveTV™. On the next episode of KILLJOYS, “Shaft” (Friday, July 15 at 9 p.m. ET), a rescue mission to the Badlands goes wrong when the Killjoys encounter an unexpected enemy in an abandoned mine. On the next episode of DARK MATTER, “I’ve Seen The Other Side Of You” (Friday, July 15 at 10 p.m. ET), while laying low on the Raza, a computer glitch causes the crew to turn against each other.
