KW’s BOUNCE 105.3 & VIRGIN RADIO 99.5 Announce Frequency Exchange
– Kitchener-Waterloo radio stations trade places on the dial, while continuing to deliver the same local programming and trusted on-air personalities that listeners know and love –
KITCHENER, ONT. (July 27, 2026) – iHeartRadio Canada announced today a frequency exchange between its Kitchener-Waterloo radio stations, with BOUNCE Radio moving to 105.3 FM and VIRGIN RADIO moving to 99.5 FM, effective tomorrow (Tuesday, July 28).
BOUNCE Radio’s move to 105.3 FM provides the station with significantly expanded regional reach, extending beyond Kitchener-Waterloo and into communities across Southwestern Ontario. At the same time, VIRGIN RADIO’s move to 99.5 FM sees the station continue to serve listeners in Kitchener-Waterloo with the biggest hit music that is synonymous with this beloved radio brand.

Listeners can expect a seamless transition on Tuesday, July 28, and are encouraged to update their vehicle presets and smart device settings to continue enjoying their favourite stations.
BOUNCE Radio 105.3 FM is available for listening locally at 105.3 FM, and online at BounceRadio.ca. VIRGIN RADIO 99.5 FM is available for listening locally at 99.5 FM, and online at VirginRadio.ca. Both stations are available via audio live stream on iHeartRadio.com and the iHeartRadio Canada app, as well as through Alexa, Siri, and Google Home smart speakers.
