TORONTO (October 30, 2015) – TSN and RDS kicked off the MLS CUP PLAYOFFS with a record audience for last night’s historic all-Canadian playoff matchup between the Montreal Impact and Toronto FC. Overnight data from Numeris confirms an average audience of 582,000 viewers tuned in to see the all-Canadian matchup on TSN (263,000) and RDS (319,000), making it the most-watched MLS game ever on the two networks. Overall, more than 2.6 million unique viewers tuned in to see international superstar Didier Drogba and the Montreal Impact secure a decisive 3-0 victory over Toronto FC.
