Last Night’s Montreal-Toronto Game Delivers TSN’s Highest NHL Regular Season Audience Since 2005

TORONTO (February 28, 2013) – One of the NHL’s greatest rivalries is still alive and well, as overnight data from BBM Canada confirms that last night’s NHL ON TSN game featuring Montreal @ Toronto was watched by an average audience of 1.53 million viewers – making it the most-watched regular season NHL game on TSN since 2005.

An additional 893,000 viewers watched the highly-anticipated, all-Canadian match-up in French on RDS.

Overall, 7.2 million Canadians watched some part of the Canadiens 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs on TSN and RDS.

TSN’s broadcast feature its acclaimed NHL ON TSN panel live on location at the Air Canada Centre for the highly-anticipated game. TSN Radio 1050 and TSN Radio 690 also featured live broadcast of the game.
