Barclays English Premier League Soccer Returns to RDS with over 70 Matches

Montreal, August 14, 2014—Barclays English Premier League soccer is back on RDS for a fourth season.

During the 2014-2015 season, RDS and RDS2 will broadcast over 70 games from the English Premier League, one of the world’s most prestigious soccer leagues, featuring legendary clubs such as Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham. Matches involving these top teams will figure prominently on RDS throughout the season. 

RDS will kick off the new season with a live broadcast of the match between Leicester City and Everton, on Saturday, August 16, at 9:55 a.m. ET (see broadcast schedule below).
 
Claudine Douville and Jean Gounelle will be back to provide play-by-play commentary for matches, while Patrick Leduc will offer game analysis alongside host François-Etienne Corbin. Yann Barrière and Mathieu Jolivet will also host match broadcasts during the season.

Soccer fans can count on SPORTS 30, SPORTS 30 LE MAGAZINE, RDS.ca and RDS GO to keep them up to date with all the latest Barclays English Premier League news, highlights, scores, stats and standings. 

RDS is also an official broadcaster of MLS, the FIFA World Cup—including the 2014 Women’s World Cup to be held in Canada—and Euro 2016.
