Crave continues to deliver weekly alerts highlighting new and noteworthy programming and scheduling changes for the week ahead.
Highlights This Week
- The two-time Oscar® winning film JOKER drops on Crave Friday, May 22. The thriller follows mentally troubled clown Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix, who took home the Best Actor Oscar for his role), who is disregarded and mistreated by society causing him to embark on a downward spiral of revolution and bloody crime. This path brings him face-to-face with his alter-ego: the Joker.
- Ahead of the finale episode next week, RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE spills the tea with a virtual reunion episode Friday, May 22 at 9:30 p.m. ET. RuPaul hosts the virtual slumber party, giving the queens the opportunity to “kiki” about everything and anything that has happened this season. This includes all the shade thrown in the “werkroom” and some of the most shocking eliminations, as well as answering questions from fans.
- The Crave and TIFF Stay-at-Home Cinema initiative continues with Q&As and Crave screenings featuring LOOPER and writer-director Rian Johnson on Thursday, May 21; FALLS AROUND HER with Cree and Métis actor Tantoo Cardinal on Tuesday, May 26; and SENSE AND SENSIBILITY with Kate Winslet, on Wednesday, May 27.
