TORONTO (February 18, 2022) – The stars of Major League Soccer return to the pitch as TSN today announced the 2022 MLS ON TSN regular season broadcast schedule. The season kicks off Saturday, Feb. 26 with a tripleheader of opening day games on TSN, TSN.ca, and the TSN app: Philadelphia Union facing Minnesota United FC at 1 p.m. ET, then Columbus Crew taking on Vancouver Whitecaps FC at 3 p.m. ET, followed by FC Dallas hosting Toronto FC at 5:30 p.m. ET. Opening weekend continues on Sunday, Feb. 27, featuring CF Montréal taking on Orlando City SC at 12:30 p.m. ET on TSN. As Canada’s exclusive English-language home of the league, the MLS ON TSN schedule features every Toronto FC and Vancouver Whitecaps FC game, 16 CF Montréal matches, marquee matchups featuring U.S.-based teams, plus eight Saturday afternoon games featuring Canadian teams on CTV. The MLS ON TSN studio panel is hosted by Kelcey Brade alongside former TFC Designated Player and Canada’s Men’s National Team captain Julian de Guzman, and longtime Premier League and Republic of Ireland’s Men’s National Team veteran Kevin Kilbane. The 2022 season features analysis and commentary from Luke Wileman, Steven Caldwell, Blake Price, Paul Dolan, Vic Rauter, and Greg Sutton. The 2022 MLS ON TSN season schedule also includes:
  • Rivalry Week Matchups, airing July 8-17, highlighted by some of the fiercest rivalries in the league, including:
    • CF Montréal vs. Toronto FC on Saturday, July 16 at 7:30 p.m. ET
    • Portland Timbers vs. Whitecaps FC on Sunday, July 17 at 10:30 p.m. ET
  • MLS Decision Day on Sunday, Oct. 9, with all teams facing intra-conference opponents:
    • Philadelphia Union vs. Toronto FC
    • Inter Miami CF vs. CF Montréal
    • Minnesota United vs. Whitecaps FC
  • Complete coverage of the 2022 MLS CUP PLAYOFFS, culminating with the 2022 MLS CUP, one of 60+ championship events that live on TSN
