TORONTO (Dec. 20, 2023) – Rounding off a year of growth, MuchMusic, Canada’s most-followed social media entertainment brand, has partnered with Loblaw, for the creative holiday campaign THE PC HOLIDAY HAUL, exclusively on TikTok. Created in partnership with Advance powered by Loblaw and the Loblaw Control Brand Marketing team, THE PC HOLIDAY HAUL is a five-episode content series on TikTok that celebrates PC’s holiday treats. The series follows MuchMusic VJ’s Georgia Kolev, Kwesi Kwarko-Fosu, Sadé Powell, Teddy Tong, and Verdah Ansari as they prep for gatherings, entertain their friends, and start new holiday traditions with PC’s holiday collection of food. “Over the past year, MuchMusic has forged dynamic partnerships, showcasing remarkable versatility in delivering content for a variety of verticals,” said Perry MacDonald, VP, Advertising Sales and Partnerships at Bell Media. “We’re thrilled to round out the year with Loblaw by launching THE PC HOLIDAY HAUL, exclusively on TikTok. In addition to Loblaw, MuchMusic partnered with Cheetos, Intel, and Smartwater on successful youth-targeted campaigns. With more than 7 million followers across TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, and Threads, MuchMusic is the most followed Canadian entertainment brand on social media. MuchMusic’s ability to reach Gen-Z audiences is further strengthened through its large audience on TikTok, where its followers have more than doubled in the last year to 4 million. Since its inception, the brands engagements has grown to more than 300 million likes, thanks to installments of the renowned series, INTIMATE AND INTERACTIVE, which featured Niall Horan and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie this year.
