MONTREAL, March 18, 2014—From March 20 to April 7, RDS2 will offer fans all the basketball they can handle with the best matchups during the NCAA’s legendary March® Madness®. Coverage on RDS2 begins this Thursday at 4:30 p.m. ET with the presentation of the second round. This thrilling tournament will reach its climax on Monday, April 7, as the national champions will be crowned (see full broadcast schedule below).
Alexandre Tourigny, Mathieu Jolivet and Didier Ormejuste will handle color commentary for the games. William Archambault and Maxime Paulhus-Gosselin, who took part in the tournament while playing for the Davidson Wildcats, will be part of the RDS analysis team, along with Simon Bibeau (McGill), Maxime Boudreau (Buffalo) and basketball insider Peter Yannopoulos.
On Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. ET, RDS2 will broadcast a special 30-minute program in which our team of experts will break down the field and offer their predictions. They will also discuss potential upsets, players to keep an eye on and Canadians involved in the tournament.
TSN will provide English coverage of March® Madness® starting on Wednesday at 6 p.m. ET.

RDS.ca offers online fans a special section devoted to March® Madness®, including the latest news, highlights, exclusive Web analysis and Alexandre Tourigny’s column.
Fans are also invited to predict the winners of various matchups during March® Madness® by taking part in the Le tournoi de la NCAA contest until noon on Thursday.
A field of 68 teams
The Florida Gators are strong favourites for this year’s NCAA basketball championship, which gets underway on Thursday. Boasting a 26-game winning streak, the Gators (32-2) are the top seed in the South Region. The Arizona Wildcats (28-3), meanwhile, are the favourites in the West Region. In the Midwest Region, the Wichita State Shockers (34-0) are the top seed. And after winning the regular season conference title and ACC tournament, the Virginia Cavaliers (25-6) are the favourites in the East Region.
