Toronto (Oct. 25, 2013) – This evening, NEWSTALK 1010’s LIVE DRIVE host John Tory interviews Prime Minister Stephen Harper following a week of intensified debate surrounding the Canadian Senate spending scandal. Airing tonight at 5 p.m. ET, the exclusive interview offers listeners the Prime Minister’s perspective after his government was once again engulfed by the issue following allegations made by Senator Mike Duffy earlier this week.

During the exclusive interview, the Prime Minister also discusses the historic free trade agreement that was tentatively struck with the European Union. The deal has been positioned as the largest in Canadian history and will open up Canadian products and services to an EU market of more than 500 million consumers. The discussion also delves into the recent Speech from the Throne.
