NEWSTALK 1010’s Fifth Annual Toronto Back-To-School Backpack Giveaway Returns August 28

– NEWSTALK 1010 partners with The Children’s Breakfast Clubs for its fifth annual Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway –
– Eligible children will be provided with a brand-new backpack filled with school supplies for the new school year –

TORONTO (August 26, 2019) – iHeartRadio Canada’s NEWSTALK 1010 kicks off its fifth annual back-to-school backpack giveaway on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 10 a.m. ET, giving away 1,500 backpacks and other school supplies to children in need for the upcoming school year.

NEWSTALK 1010 will be situated at two Toronto-area locations to distribute the backpacks to students who pre-registered for the event with The Children’s Breakfast Clubs, a non-profit charitable organization that aims to provide underprivileged children with a nutritious breakfast.  

Each student has already received instructions as to which location they should visit.
