St. Catharines, Ont. (November 29, 2019) – iHeartRadio Canada’s NEWSTALK 610 CKTB announced today the all-new weekday lineup, kicking off with NIAGARA IN THE MORNING WITH TIM DENIS airing weekdays from 6 – 10 a.m. ET, beginning this week. The morning show led by Denis presents listeners with everything there is to know in Niagara, across the country, and around the world.  Plus, news anchor Shelby Knox provides news updates at the top and bottom of every hour, and Niagara traffic and weather updates every 15 minutes. Following the morning show, host Matt Holmes hits the airwaves Monday – Thursday from 10 a.m. – 12 noon ET, with morning news anchor Shelby Knox hosting on Fridays. Then, NEWSTALK 1010’s Jim Richards hosts from 12 noon – 2 p.m. ET, and beginning in 2020, Evan Solomon hosts this spot with his nationally syndicated show, THE EVAN SOLOMON SHOW. Finally, after fifteen years of entertaining listeners in the morning, Tom McConnell takes his discourse and disagreements in to the late afternoon, as THE TOM MCCONNELL SHOW moves to 2 – 6 p.m. ET on weekdays. “I’m excited about the opportunity of entering a new time slot on NEWSTALK 610 CKTB,” said Tom McConnell, host of THE TOM MCCONNELL SHOW. “Now, our show will report the top stories to our listeners as they are happening, with my phone lines open for three hours of compelling and opinionated conversation.” “CKTB is and will always be a trusted, community-first radio station with the mission to entertain and inform,” said Craig Pfeifer, CKTB’s Program Director. “Its new lineup will continue to be live and local for our loyal Niagara listeners.” NEWSTALK 610 CKTB is Niagara’s News leader and a proud supporter of the Niagara Children’s Centre, Gillian’s Place, and the Great Holiday Food Drive, which raised $300,000 last year for Community Care of St. Catharine’s and Thorold. NEWSTALK 610 CKTB is available across Canada via live stream on the iHeartRadio Canada app and at iHeartRadio.ca/610cktb.
