- 40 DAYS OF DATING: CANADA AM chats with two New York City bloggers who experimented by dating each other for 40 days, and then wrote about it.
- PLANES: Marcia MacMillan visits the Disney studios in Los Angeles for an exclusive look at the making of Disney’s new animated film, Planes. There, she chats with director Klay Hall and producer Traci Balthazor-Flynn for the first installment of CANADA AM’s Planes series.
- AMAZING RACE: CANADA AM has the exclusive first interview with the latest THE AMAZING RACE CANADA duo to be eliminated from the competition.
Wednesday, Aug. 7
- THE RASCALS: CANADA AM’s Marcia MacMillan talks with former SOPRANOS stars Steve Van Zandt and Vincent Pastore about their hit Broadway musical, The Rascals.
- MAKING PLANES: Marcia MacMillan gets a behind-the-scenes look at how the animated-Disney movie Planes is made, in part two of the series.
- BITE BAR: Nisha Amin, the owner of Toronto’s only bite-sized dessert bar, Bite Bar, shows off some tiny treats for those who want to indulge their sweet tooth without the guilt.
Thursday, Aug. 8
- THE SOUNDS OF PLANES: In part three of CANADA AM’s Planes series, Marcia MacMillan tests her vocal chords when she learns what it takes to be a Disney voice actor.
- HAPPY CAMPER: Camping connoisseur Kevin Callan and his daughter stop by CANADA AM with tips on planning an exciting family camping trip.
- OFF THE COB: Chef Jason Fitzsimmons hits the CANADA AM patio for a healthy and delicious corn roast.
Friday, Aug. 9
- DUSTY DANE: In CANADA AM’s final installment of its Planes series, Marcia MacMillan talks to actor/comedian Dane Cook about his role as the voice of Dusty, the film’s main plane.
- STEAKS 101: Chef Michael Olson fires up the CANADA AM grill and explains the difference between steak cuts, how best to cook them, and one simple glaze to suit them all.
- DON’T FORGET DESSERT: Pastry Chef Anna Olson keeps the grill going with a perfect peach dessert made in a skillet. Coated with buttery brown sugar and topped with ice cream, it makes the perfect summer treat.
