  • John Irving: Acclaimed novelist and Academy Award®-winning screenwriter John Irving sits down with Marci Ien to discuss his new book, Avenue of Mysteries, a novel depicting a character whose past collides with his future.
  • Nigella Lawson: Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson is in the CANADA AM kitchen to share simple and satisfying recipes from her new cookbook Simply Nigella, a calm escape to cooking from our hectic everyday lives.
  • Wild Child: Indie pop band Wild Child takes the CANADA AM soundstage to perform hits from their new album, Fools.

  • Hedley: Canadian pop-rock group Hedley takes the CANADA AM stage to perform hits from their new studio album Hello and chat about their rise to stardom.
  • Spotlight: Actor Liev Schreiber and journalist Marty Baron sit down with Bev Thomson to chat about their new film, Spotlight. In the film, Schreiber portrays Baron, as he and his team of Boston Globe reporters uncover a massive scandal of child abuse and cover-ups within the local Catholic Church.
Friday, Nov. 6
  • Miss You Already: Actresses Drew Barrymore and Toni Collette sit down with Marci Ien to discuss their new film, Miss You Already, a film about a life-long friendship put to the test when one friend starts a family while the other falls ill.
  • Johnny Reid: Country star Johnny Reid takes the CANADA AM soundstage to perform songs from his new album What Love is All About for a live studio audience.
