TORONTO (April 6, 2017) – Twenty-four of Canada’s top basketball stars are ready to take to the court for the 2018 BIOSTEEL ALL CANADIAN BASKETBALL GAME, airing live on TSN from the University of Toronto’s Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport this Monday, April 9 at 8 p.m. ET. The day prior (April 8), select players demonstrate their skills on the court as part of the Nike Skills Challenge, taking place at the Athlete Institute in Orangeville, Ont. beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET.
As part of the Nike Skills Challenge, the Sport Chek 3-Point Shootout and BMO Slam Dunk Competition feature players competing in the BIOSTEEL ALL CANADIAN BASKETBALL GAME. In addition, the action-packed day also includes the Nike BioSteel All Canadian Futures Game, featuring Ontario’s top Grade 9 and 10 basketball players. New this year is the BioSteel All Canadian Regional Women’s Showcase, featuring 24 of the top women’s high school basketball players from Ontario.

As announced last month, TSN’s exclusive broadcast of the BIOSTEEL ALL CANADIAN BASKETBALL GAME features 24 of Canada’s top high school basketball players, including NCAA Division I commits Luguentz Dort (Arizona), Daniel Sackey (Valparaiso), Noah Kirkwood (Harvard), Jonathan Kabongo (Virginia Tech). As well as some of Canada’s top underclassmen including Addison Patterson (2020), Cashius McNeilly (2020), Emanuel Miller (2019), Tyrese Samuel (2019), and Quincy Guerrier (2019). The showcase game features two teams coached by University of Calgary’s Dan Vanhooren and Brock University’s Charles Kissi.
