NOVEMBER 17 – A CHRISTMAS STORY CHRISTMAS *Movie Premiere*
- The long-awaited follow-up to the 1983 cult classic, A Christmas Story, the family comedy follows an adult Ralphie (Peter Billingsley, reprising his starring role) as he returns to the house on Cleveland Street to deliver his kids a magical Christmas like the one he had growing up. Set in the 1970s, and featuring the same attention-to-real-life tone of the original film, Ralphie reconnects with childhood friends, reconciles the passing of his Old Man, and sows the seeds for the origins of the beloved holiday classic. Other new holiday-themed films dropping on Crave this month include A CHRISTMAS MYSTERY (Nov. 24) and HOLIDAY HARMONY (Nov. 24).
NOVEMBER 17 – HBO Max’s THE SEX LIVES OF COLLEGE GIRLS *Season 2 Premiere*
- Created by Emmy-nominated writer/producer Mindy Kaling, and Justin Noble, the critically acclaimed series returns with two episodes dropping Thursday, Nov. 17. The series follows four college roommates at New England’s prestigious Essex College. The new season picks up with the students returning after fall break, tackling the challenges thrown their way at the end of Season 1, and facing their next semester with new faces, parties, and predicaments. The series follows a weekly release schedule, with two new episodes dropping weekly on Thursdays, leading up to the season finale on Dec. 15.
NOVEMBER 17 – HBO Max’s SANTA CAMP *Documentary Premiere*
- Every summer, a horde of professional Santas, Mrs. Clauses, and elves descend on a campsite in the New Hampshire woods, to learn the tricks of their trade. But, this year is different. The organizers, members of the one-hundred strong New England Santa Society, have decided to tackle a complicated and historic problem – the lack of diversity in the Santa industry. The HBO Max Original documentary SANTA CAMP premieres Thursday, Nov. 17.
NOVEMBER 18 – Crave Original Series, CANADA’S DRAG RACE: CANADA VS. THE WORLD *Series Premiere*
- On CANADA’S DRAG RACE: CANADA VS. THE WORLD, queens from the international Drag Race family compete to become the Queen of the Mother-Pucking World. With Canada acting as host nation, this six-episode battle brings back fan favourites and top talent from around the world with a thirst for victory, for an elite competition. Resident CANADA’S DRAG RACE judges Brooke Lynn Hytes, Brad Goreski, and Traci Melchor bring their judging expertise to CANADA’S DRAG RACE: CANADA VS. THE WORLD, and are joined by guest judges and special guests soon to be announced throughout the season. The series premieres Friday, Nov. 18 at 9 p.m. ET and follows a weekly release schedule, with new episodes dropping Fridays at 9 p.m. ET.
NOVEMBER 18 – CTV NEWS’ THE POPE’S APOLOGY: REPORTER’S NOTEBOOK BY JILL MACYSHON AND CREESON AGECOUTAY *Special Premiere*
- CTV News correspondents Jill Macyshon and Creeson Agecoutay reflect on covering the Pope’s historic “Pilgrimage of Penance” to Canada, to apologize and atone for church-run residential schools. The hour-long special tracks the Pope’s journey from Vatican City to Canada, as well as the healing and sometimes painful journey of residential school survivors and their families.
NOVEMBER 18 – SHOWTIME’s THE L WORD: GENERATION Q *Season 3 Premiere*
- Based on the groundbreaking drama series THE L WORD, THE L WORD: GENERATION Q continues to follow the intermingled lives of Bette Porter (Jennifer Beals), Alice Pieszecki (Leisha Hailey), Shane McCutcheon (Katherine Moennig), Dani Nùñez (Arienne Mandi), Micah Lee (Leo Sheng), Finley (Jacqueline Toboni), Sophie Suarez (Rosanny Zayas), Gigi Ghorbani (Sepideh Moafi), Angie Porter-Kennard (Jordan Hull), and Tess (Jamie Clayton) as they experience love, heartbreak, sex, setbacks, and success in L.A. The series drops Friday, Nov. 18 and follows a weekly release schedule, with new episodes streaming Fridays.
NOVEMBER 18 – SHOWTIME’s ZIWE *New Episodes*
- The critically acclaimed late-night variety series ZIWE returns with six new episodes, with special guests Drew Barrymore, Michael Che, Wayne Brady, Julia Fox, Blake Griffin, and Bob the Drag Queen. Starring and executive produced by Ziwe, the new installment of episodes features Ziwe’s signature sit-down interviews, along with musical performances by Ziwe, sketches, unscripted and unpredictable interactions with everyday people, and more. New episodes are available for streaming on Fridays.
NOVEMBER 20 – HBO’s ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY *Special*
- HBO presents the 37th Annual ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. ET, and available on-demand the following morning. Recorded on Nov. 5 at Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, the ceremony honours this year’s inductees: Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, Duran Duran, Eminem, Eurythmics, Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, Carly Simon, Judas Priest, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Harry Belafonte, Elizabeth Cotton, Allen Grubman, Jimmy Iovine, and Sylvia Robinson.
NOVEMBER 23 – HBO’s SHAQ *Documentary Series Premiere*
- From HBO Sports Documentaries, SHAQ is a four-part documentary series detailing the life and career of NBA Hall of Famer, and multi-hyphenate Shaquille O’Neal. Featuring a series of revealing interviews with O’Neal, SHAQ tells the story of a basketball legend unlike any other whose larger-than-life personality transcended the sport and transformed him into a cultural icon. The docuseries chronicles Shaq’s ascent to superstardom, as a dominant force who won four NBA championships, league MVP honours, and changed the game. It also encompasses his life off the court, from his upbringing in a military family, to his deepest personal relationships and prosperous broadcasting and business careers. SHAQ debuts Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 9 p.m. ET, with subsequent new episodes dropping on Wednesdays.
