- Crave launches it’s Holiday Landing Page featuring multiple collections to celebrate the festive season including: Family Favourites ( Seuss How The Grinch Stole Christmas), Evergreen Classics (Love Actually, Elf), Yes, It’s a Christmas Movie (Batman Returns, Violent Night), Winter is Coming (The Shining, Scott Pilgrim Vs. NOVEMBER 1 – Crave Original Series MY DEAD MOM *Premiere*
- Emmy (Lauren Collins, DEGRASSI: THE NEXT GENERATION, SLIP) wanted to hike the Appalachian Trail after her mother died, she was just really busy. But three years on now, her grief is catching up with her. As she questions her lipstick and life choices, her dead mother, Fern (Megan Follows, ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, REIGN), pops into her life to voice her opinions and tell her red really isn’t her colour. Even death hasn’t stopped Fern from being fabulous. Emmy is trying to live her best life, but how do you let go of something that is so present? With sharp wit and aching tenderness, MY DEAD MOM explores the complicated nature of grief through mothers and daughters, and death. From LoCo Motion Pictures, creator Wendy Litner, and executive producer Lauren Corber, the seven-part series is directed by Chandler Levack. Rounding out the cast are Rainbow Sun Francks (HIGH FIDELITY), David Reale (THE BOYS), Daniel Maslany (MURDOCH MYSTERIES), Daniel Kash (SLASHER), Jenny Raven (KIM’S CONVENIENCE, DESIGNATED SURVIVOR), and guest stars Matt Murray (IN THE DARK) and Naomi Snieckus (MR. D, Zombies). All seven episodes of the series drop on November 1.
NOVEMBER 4 – Crave Original Special NO REFUNDS WITH DARCY AND JER and
Crave Original Documentary HAPPILY EVER LAUGHTER: THE DARCY AND JER STORY *Premiere*
- The 90-minute Crave Original special NO REFUNDS WITH DARCY AND JER was filmed during a sold-out performance of Darcy & Jer’s tour. It captures the best of the duo’s comedy as they tackle topics ranging from mental health to the ridiculousness of modern life. The accompanying documentary HAPPILY EVER LAUGHTER: THE DARCY AND JER STORY offers a behind-the-scenes look at their lives, tour, and careers, and the magic of making people laugh together.
NOVEMBER 14 – Max Original Series HARRY POTTER: WIZARDS OF BAKING *Premiere*
- In the all-new six-episode competition series HARRY POTTER: WIZARDS OF BAKING, hosted by James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley), pairs of professional pastry chefs and cake artists compete at Warner Bros. Studios in Leaevesden, England, on the original sets where Harry Potter’s magical journey was brought to life on screen. Each week, the culinary artists create massive, spellbinding, and delicious showpieces inspired by moments and themes from the Harry Potter saga, and present their creations to judges Carla Hall and Jozef Youssef in many of the films’ locations, such as the Great Hall, the Forbidden Forest, and more. Throughout the competition, special guests from the films, including Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) and Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), join the expert judges and share behind-the-scenes experiences. The winning team is awarded the first-ever Wizards of Baking Cup and the opportunity to appear in a new Harry Potter cookbook. The series premieres Thursday, Nov. 14 at 8 p.m. ET, with subsequent episodes dropping Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET.
NOVEMBER 17 – HBO Original Series DUNE: PROPHECY *Premiere*
- From the expansive universe of Dune, created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert, and 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, DUNE: PROPHECY follows two Harkonnen sisters (Emily Watson and Olivia Williams) as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind, and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit. DUNE: PROPHECY is inspired by the novel Sisterhood of Dune, written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. The six-episode season debuts Sunday, Nov. 17 at 9 p.m. ET, with new episodes streaming Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
NOVEMBER 21 – Max Original Series THE SEX LIVES OF COLLEGE GIRLS *Season 3 Premiere*
- From Emmy®-nominated writer and producer Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble, the critically acclaimed coming-of-age Max series THE SEX LIVES OF COLLEGE GIRLS returns for its third season on Thursday, November 21, with new episodes streaming subsequent Thursdays. THE SEX LIVES OF COLLEGE GIRLS follows a group of college students at New England’s prestigious Essex College, and stars Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Alyah Chanelle Scott, Christopher Meyer, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Renika Williams, Gracie Lawrence, and Mia Rogers.
NOVEMBER 21 – Crave Original Series CANADA’S DRAG RACE *Season 5 Premiere*
- Winner of 17 Canadian Screen Awards, the hit Crave Original series CANADA’S DRAG RACE returns for Season 5 on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 9 p.m. ET. The nine-episode season features 11 new drag artists competing for the coveted title of “Canada’s Next Drag Superstar” and a $100,000 grand prize. Brooke Lynn Hytes, Brad Goreski, and Traci Melchor return as resident judges, and are once again joined by a stellar lineup of guest judges throughout the season. The buzzy Season 5 queens are: Helena Poison, Jaylene Tyme, Makayla Couture, Minhi Wang, Perla, Sanjina DaBish Queen, Tara Nova, The Virgo Queen, Tiffany Ann Co., Uma Gahd, and Xana. The series follows a weekly release schedule, with new episodes dropping Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
NOVEMBER 25 – HBO Original Limited Series GET MILLIE BLACK *Premiere*
- Ex-Scotland Yard detective Millie-Jean Black returns to Kingston, Jamaica to work missing persons cases, soon finding herself on a quest to save a sibling who won’t be saved; to find a child who can’t be found; to solve a case that will blow her world apart, and prove almost as tough to crack as Millie Black. Created and executive produced by Booker Prize-winning author Marlon James, the five-episode HBO Original limited series GET MILLIE BLACK premieres Monday, Nov. 25 at 9 p.m. ET, with new episodes streaming Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.
NOVEMBER 29 – CONAN WITHOUT BORDERS *Season 1-2*
- CONAN WITHOUT BORDERS takes late night host Conan O’Brien to different parts of the globe, proving O’Brien is television’s perfect traveling everyman, with an uncanny knack for diving into a local culture and infusing it with his trademark humour. The 13-episodes series does not follow the traditional talk-show format of O’Brien’s talk show CONAN, instead following O’Brien as he travels outside of the US and attempts to engage the locals and experience the unique cultural aspects of locations like Cuba, Armenia, Korea, Mexico and Qatar.
