NOVEMBER 24 – NO HARD FEELINGS *Movie Premiere*
- Jennifer Lawrence produces and stars in the comedy NO HARD FEELINGS, from director Gene Stupnitsky. Maddie (Lawrence) thinks she’s found the answer to her financial troubles when she discovers an intriguing job listing: wealthy helicopter parents who are looking for someone to “date” their introverted 19-year-old son, Percy, and bring him out of his shell before he leaves for college. But awkward Percy proves to be more of a challenge than she expected, and time is running out before she loses it all.
NOVEMBER 25 – THE FREAK BROTHERS *Season 2*
- Season 2 of THE FREAK BROTHERS premieres with four episodes on Saturday, Nov. 25. Featuring the voices of Woody Harrelson, John Goodman, Pete Davidson, Tiffany Haddish, and Adam DeVine, the series chronicles the escapades of a trio of stoner anti-establishment characters and their smartass cat who wake up from a 50-year nap after smoking a magical strain of weed in 1969, and must adjust to life with a new family in present-day San Francisco. In the second season, the Freaks and Kitty’s Mary Jane-fueled misadventures will take them from their high school reunion to matching wits with Mark Zuckerberg, settling old scores with Mitch McConnell, and battling Seth Rogen in a Pot Brownie Bake-Off contest.THE FREAK BROTHERS follows a weekly release schedule with subsequent episodes dropping Saturdays.
NOVEMBER 28 – HBO’s SOUTH TO BLACK POWER *Documentary Premiere*
- On the eve of the 2022 U.S. midterm elections, Charles M. Blow, New York Times columnist and best-selling author of The Devil You Know: A Black Power Manifesto, sets off across the country on a personal journey to test his theory on Black Liberation, which involves a daring strategy for Black Americans to move to the southern states to control southern legislatures and gain greater political power. Conversing with politicians, historians, community activists, colleagues, friends, and family members, Blow challenges Black Americans to disrupt the status quo by affecting change at the polls through reverse migration and gain control over states that already have the highest percentages of Black residents. SOUTH TO BLACK POWER debuts on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 10 p.m. ET.
